Tucked at the head of Burrard Inlet, Port Moody calls itself the City of the Arts — a small city with a waterfront park, a well-known craft brewery strip, and two SkyTrain stations that have made it a hub for new condo and townhouse development.

Much of Port Moody's new housing is sold as presales. In BC, presale purchases come with a developer's disclosure statement and their own seven-day rescission right — separate from the resale rules. Reading that disclosure statement carefully matters: specifications, deposit schedule, and the completion-date window. With a construction management background, I read those documents the way I'd read a project schedule.
